:: Photo Credit: England Photography Cooper Tires WE-Rock All Stock Nationals Team Quadratec was on the way to their last event of the 2008 season. The All Stock Nationals presented by Cooper Tires was the first event that the modified stock class had to itself. We were going to be the top dogs. With 19 rigs from all over the United States Team Quadratec was the team to beat being the East Coast Champs and being one of the few teams ever to sweep a series. Was it a fluke or did we really have what it takes to become the national champions. After a 17 hour ride from New Jersey, we stopped at Hannibal Rocks to take a look at the courses we were to run in the days to come. They were sick, like we never ran before. A lot of crazy climbs and drop offs and a lot of technical sections in between. I like to look at the course but not over study them the night before. They tend to change a lot in the duration of the day. We had tech inspection in downtown Hannibal. A setting a block off the Mississippi river was a great location to show off your rigs to the locals and get to meet competitors from the opposite coast and size up your competition. After tech we had to modify our hood height to meet the specs of the class. |
